Wonder which car has the biggest base-to-option disparity.

Interesting that BMW and Chevy sent more people than Mclaren and Ferrari. They must not have informed Mclaren or Ferrari that they were testing their cars.

i bet that was the Mazda too. the cup option must add a lot over a relatively cheap car

Granted, BMW and Chevy had a lot of entries, but this is quite surprising, too. C&D did some fine work here.

It says the Ferrari 488 GTB had the biggest base price to “as-tested” disparity... are you speaking more of the model(s) in general? And, while it had $63k in options, I wonder what the biggest difference is, percentage-wise, as opposed to just dollars. I mean, it was just under $300k before options, so ~$60k is 20%. But I suppose if you look at the Focus (not just RS), a base Focus is under half that; so, 100%+ if you want to look at it that way. On the other hand, I suspect the RS alone doesn’t have tons of expensive options.

The Miata Cup car only costs 45,000 dollars. So it's 20,000 more than a base model not 63,000.

Hold up.
Only 347GB of Photos?! That’s 5 cameras?!
C&D needs to step their camera game up. We handle that much data in a half of a day of shooting at my work.

As far as simply the amount of dollars you probably put more than $600k in options on a Chiron.
The Bentley Bentayga probably has one of the biggest base-to-option disparity in terms of percentage because the base is $229k but it can be optioned up to almost $600k, mostly due to a $300k tourbillion Breitling that comes in the dash.
